In order to achieve good quality, success and zero defects, the process must be effectively controlled in order to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises. In order to get rid of the extensive and low-quality production mode, manufacturing enterprises must strengthen the process control of all aspects of product quality, change the backward quality management concept, change the post-control to preventive control, full participation, in order to break out of the dilemma in the fierce market competition. Our production process is: raw materials → rubber refining (rubber mixing) → vulcanization molding → appearance inspection → warehousing/warehousing.

Our company has introduced SAP system to realize the monitoring and management of the whole process from raw materials to finished products, and the quality control department carries out strict quality control over each process.

1 Incoming raw materials

IQC tests each batch of materials according to raw material inspection standards, uses PDA to scan the material two-dimensional code to confirm, PDA scan code associated with ERP, automatically generates inspection items and standards, prevent project leakage and missing standards, ensure that each batch of raw materials are inspected and traceable, prevent unqualified raw materials from flowing into the company, so as to "not receive defective products".

2 Compound mixing

2.1 The use of high-precision electronic scale ingredients, accurate measurement, to ensure the accuracy of the formula, improve product quality.

2.2 Complete batch record query, bar code record, traceability, and integration with the company's management system.

Barwell preforming machine with higher precision was newly purchased in the rubber mixing workshop to ensure more accurate precision and higher stability of preformed rubber material, and greatly reduce the product defect rate. We also plan to purchase two Japanese Moriyama kneading machines, which will greatly improve the quality of rubber and the production efficiency of rubber mixing.

After mixing each batch of rubber, QC first conducts vulcanization test. Different types of rubber (EPDM/NR/NBR/CR/CIIR/SI) are tested respectively according to the characteristics of rubber to ensure that qualified rubber flows to the next process (molding).

3 vulcanization molding

The company's newly purchased DESMA molding machine has been put into use, and the product quality is more stable, while ensuring that "no bad products are produced", we will strive for more market share. During the molding production, the molding staff first self-check, quality control department IPQC according to the product inspection plan and inspection focus, the product of each shift more than 3 times full mold hole appearance inspection and the first round/first shift production of products, to achieve "no defective products".

4 Full appearance inspection

Before the products are stored, 100% appearance will be fully inspected to prevent the flow of defective products to the customer, which will bring trouble to the customer's production.

5 Incoming/outgoing check

OQC will carry out more than 3 random inspections per shift, find problems at any time, and solve them at any time to ensure that "no defective products are released". Before the product is out of the warehouse, OQC will check the appearance of the product again, check the identification information and delivery quantity, to avoid customer complaints caused by wrong delivery.
